Zaanse Shans: Amsterdam Windmill Trip

We took a half-day trip in a small city around 15-20mins from Amsterdam. This city is also known as Wind Mill City. You can take a public transport for maybe less than €10 per head. However it takes more than an hour to get there.

It’s a tourist city but it still has its originality since it preserves the original windmills. It also has shops, museums, houses and barns. It’s a photographer’s heaven and we had loads of fun taking videos and pictures!

Since we had 3 children to bring we opted for a private hire. I found one offering hired car services at the kebab shop I always go to for food. The rates are very reasonable and the best part is they can pack food for the trip as well! I would highly recommend this place if you want to visit a place that is iconic of Holland.

Their contact numbers are below if anyone is interested. I highly recommend.

Also a short video clip of the trip below.
